Sealants
As children continue to grow and develop, so do their oral hygiene habits. During this time while they are learning good oral hygiene habits, it is very helpful to protect the molars in the back of the mouth where children struggle to keep clean. Dental sealants is a flowable filling material that is placed in the grooves of the permanent developing molars. Once in place they are able to “seal” deep grooves in your childs teeth, preventing them from getting unwanted cavities on their permanent molars.
Fluoride
Most children will be at a high risk for getting cavities as they continue to develop and grow. As they are learning how to take care of their teeth, it is always recommended that fluoride be part of their regular cleanings to help prevent cavities that could cause them pain, loss of sleep and time away from school.
